Pick your assistant
For each person who will use Bifröst, for example someone in finance or sales. Your company has already set up Bifröst in Business Central (For your company); this is your part, and it takes about ten minutes.
Which assistant
Bifröst works with the AI assistant you already use. Your company usually decides which one:
| Assistant | How it connects |
|---|---|
| Claude (on the web or Claude Desktop) | A connector you add yourself; step by step in Connect your assistant |
| Microsoft Copilot | Not in its store yet; until then, as a remote MCP server where your Copilot allows it (how) |
| ChatGPT | Not in its store yet; until then, as a remote MCP server where your ChatGPT allows it (how) |
| Another assistant | Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers |
What you need first
- An account with the assistant, and in a company workspace, permission to add a connector. Some companies let only the workspace owner add connectors; ask your administrator.
- Your Business Central user, with the Bifröst permissions your administrator has given you. The assistant works as you, with exactly your rights.
- The MCP server address, from your administrator. You paste it in when you add the connector.
Two things to know: the assistant needs its own license from its provider, as it does today; and what the assistant reads from Business Central goes to that provider, under your company's agreement with it. See Where your data goes.
